We received a prestigious funding called SME Instrument from Horizon 2020 Program, in the subject ‘Resource-efficient eco-innovative food production and processing’. Grants are awarded only to the most innovative projects from all over Europe.
The FIDOs project has been recognized by the European Commission, which granted 50 000 Euros for its implementation. The grant will allow further development of the technology.
Horizon 2020 and SME Instrument
Horizon 2020 is the largest ever funding program for research and innovation in the European Union. Its budget for 2014-2020 amounts to almost 80 billion Euros. The aim of the program is to create a coherent system for financing innovation. Instrument for SMEs is a part of the Horizon 2020 program. It funds innovative projects conducted by small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The program aims to strengthen the innovation of European companies and help in faster introduction of innovations to the market. Companies from all EU Member States and selected countries associated with the EU may apply for the grants.
